About me
I am currently a tenured Associate Professor with the College of Computer Science and Software Engineering (CSSE) at Shenzhen University (SZU). I received the Ph.D. degree in 2014 in the School of Electrical and Electronic Engineering from Nanyang Technological University, Singapore, under the supervision of Dr. Yi Gong and Dr. Rui Zhang. Prior to that, I received the B.Eng. and M.Eng. degrees in Communication Engineering from the University of Electronic Science and Technology of China in 2006 and 2009, respectively, under the supervision of Dr. Wanbin Tang. I also worked as a Post-Doctoral Research Fellow with the Engineering Systems and Design Pillar, Singapore University of Technology and Design from 2014 to 2016, under the supervision of Dr. Lingjie Duan.
My research interests include Internet of Things (IoT), energy-efficient wireless systems, AI-driven UAV networking, integrated sensing and communications, and stochastic modeling and learning. I am also enthusiastic about down-to-floor IoT system design and implementation. I was recognized as Overseas High-Caliber Personnel in Shenzhen (深圳市海外高层次人才) in 2016 and High-level Talent in Nanshan District of Shenzhen (南山区领航人才) in 2022.
